About ONETEAMCF and ONETEAMSV
ONETEAMCF - was established in 2006 by Rob Powers, as a way to pay it forward for two military brothers who gave it all. Over the years the nonprofit all volunteer effort has focused on resiliency minded programming for combat deployed service members serving in harms way.
After 14 years and well over 800 based visits, the nonprofit effort is now focused on Paralympic Sports and finding ways for the disabled veteran community to gain access to Surf, Ski and Climbing opportunities.
Our work in El Salvador started in 2011, and continues to this day, providing subject matter expertise in the area of sport development, positive youth development and emergency first on scene first responder training and resiliency programming.
SURF CITY EL SALVADOR - Four years ago President Nayib Bukele was elected and immediately went to work changing the country for the better. Not long after taking office, President Bukele announced that the coastal beach and surf communities would be branded ‘Surf City El Salvador’ and receive focused development support to ignite awareness around the countries world renowned surf.
Our efforts are in direct support of the President’s vision and we in turn have partnered with the Council for Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Tourism, El Salvador’s Paralympic Committee and Olympic Committee, El Salvador’s Surf Federation, El Salvador’s Institute of Sport, where we serve as the Para Surf, Ski and Para Climbing Administrators and advisors on subjects where our team of volunteers have expertise.
